The thing about the Dryden story is that he was going to appeal the ruling in higher court, which should have put a hold on the demand to tear the house down until THAT ruling is made. There's still discourse going on about this case but legally Dryden was in the right. These people had no right to try and tear down his property until the high court made their ruling.

The math still makes him look bad, since she would have been 15 at the time they married if they’d been married 27 years at the time of that episode’s taping. 52 in 2019 minus 10 for 2009 is 42 and they were married for over 27 years at the time of the episode’s taping but for simplicity’s sake let’s assume 27 years is close enough, therefore 42-27 is 15.

so that last one is interesting.........cops were present the entire time. the original plan was to back off and regroup if dryden refused to cooperate. the councilman refused to back off like he should have which is when and why dryden pulled a gun. hed told them that they needed to stop and told him that if he kept at it and messing with his property it was going to end badly. that councilman was playing with his life and really thought he could say and do whatevetr and that dryden wouldnt fight back. right or wrong people do what they do. this is why he was seen as a hero. government entities overstepping ect.
