I've just installed this seat having watched this video twice through. It's not as complicated to fit compared to other seats that I have used. I would advise to pull the seat belt all the way and have someone hold it so that it cannot recoil and lock. Feed the belt through as directed and fasten. Then kneel on the seat whilst you tighten up the slack. Finally release the seat belt and pull tightly.

That's true for a height-based, or 'i-Size' seat. But this is a weight-based seat conforming to the ECE R44 standard, so it's permissible for use in a forward-facing direction if the child is over 9kg in weight, which is when a Group 1 seat can be used. This Evolva 1-2-3 is a Group 1/2/3 seat hence the name. Hope this helps.

How do you loosen the harness after tightening

It have little metal switch underneath the cover just before belly protector where you bukle . Press that and pull the harnes, from in front where the legs are for tighten or those two where the chest are, to loosen.

I don't really like this seat. No matter how hard I kneel on this it moves a bit side to side. I have a Joie in my van and it barely moves. Me girlfriend has also fitted it and it is no better

this is a very user unfriendly car seat. Video makes it look like it is very easy, while in reality it is a pain. For instance, there are no videos showing how to loosen the harness when your child grown. I can tell you by experience, it is a REAL pain to loosen the harness. Tighten the harness is easy but you never need to tighten the harness. However, every once in a while you need to loosen the harness because your child grows. To loosen the harness, you have to remove the entire seat, reset it, re-install it... What a BAD car seat...
