The Kiddy Guardianfix 3 is the latest version of the award winning Guardianfix model offering safety and comfort all round.
Suitable from 9 months (9kg) up to the ages of 12 (36kg), it grows with your child and adapts perfectly in width and height (as you will see!).
In Group 1 mode your child is secured using the Impact Shield (from approx. 9 months to 3 years of age) then the vehicles 3-point seat belt, at stage 2 and 3 they are secured using the vehicles 3-point seat belt.
The Impact Shield system provides perfect protection especially for small children. The impact shield absorbs the energy of a collision so that the upper body naturally rolls over, reducing the forces on the neck region, compared to a 5-point harness system.
For older children, the backrest adjusts in height and width with a unique adjustment mechanism using just one hand! There’s a 3-stage adjustable leg rest too. To ensure a perfect fit, there’s a handy ‘eye level indicator’ too so your child is always correctly aligned in the seat.
The Side Impact Protection has been designed to give optimum protection in the event of a side collision. Shock absorbers also help to prevent the 3-point seat belt from sudden braking in the event of an accident. A high-tech energy-absorbing material called "Honeycomb 2" is used in the sensitive head and shoulder area, in order to protect this delicate area of the child.
Throughout the car seat are inserts of breathable 3-D mesh fabric in targeted areas so your child is comfy on a hot summers day. This net-like material increases air circulation ensuring a comfortable seating environment.
It is easily installed using the practical k-fix+ connectors to the ISOfix system. The optimised k-fix+ system also makes it possible for the seat to slide sideways, away from the door in the event of a side impact. Also, due to the convenient retraction mechanism you can retract the K-fix+ connectors into the child safety seat quickly and easily. This makes this car seat also suitable for use in vehicles without an ISOfix system. The new K-fix+ system facilitates an increased angle of recline which allows a child weighing 9-18kg, to have a relaxed and comfortable snoozing position, especially during long trips.
The Guardianfix 3 is also suitable for aircraft (only in the Group 1 mode). In the opinion of experts, the simple airplane lap belt may be a safety risk to small children in the event of turbulence or an emergency landing. This child safety car seat has been approved for Group 1 (from approx. 9 months to 3 years of age - 9-18kg) use in aircraft by TÜV Rheinland and the Federal Aviation Authority.

am i right in saying that this seat only has the two isofix points? not three like all the stuff online says? also am i the only one who cant get this seat to recline? I'm a little disappointed

Hi, you have probably found out by now that cars only have 2 isofix points; also this car seat demonstrated does not recline :-)
