Thank you for your video. The #1 thing I'm seeing is that everyone's story is different. some people that I watched have had terrible pain in the incision area. I am donating April 26th 2018 to a person I have yet to meet. we have talked for a long time but looking forward to meeting face to face. It seems to me that everything went very well for you, I am happy about that. God Bless..Jim

leachman90 wow it always amazes me when I hear stories of altruistic donors. Hope things go really good with your surgery! I’m 100% back to normal. I remember the recovery was pretty tough but my Doctor said that’s not usual, and you’re right it’s very different for everyone, I heard of a lady saying she was really hungry so she ate a lot after surgery, but I couldn’t eat at all or even drink water, which was bad, I had to go back to the hospital to get fluids, but most people I’ve heard of haven’t had any problems like that. Anyway, there’s a group the NKF has where donors, recipients and families can join and ask questions if you’re interested! Thanks for the comment!

Vicky Vera Tia!
