Sounds like it has many important functions; glad I keep a spare one on-line at all times! Wish I could change this filter every 5k miles like do for my car. Are they expensive? It would be heartbreaking to discover it went totally berserk and was causing pitting edema in my extremities after a squeeze, poke _or jab._
