Bruce is the substance of simplicity when it comes to music. He takes out the over-complications and actually manages to make good sounding and yet simple music, heavy sounding, yet relaxing at the same time. It's genius, and as a musician myself, DAMN hard to accomplish that level of musicianship. Free has a voice that is unique. Since discovering Kidneythieves 7 years ago, I've still not heard another voice even remotely like her. It's amazing.

Nowadays most vocals are studioized and perfected, so when you hear the band live the singer (and the band as well) sound completely different and no where as good as on their album. With Free, her voice is just perfect and no enhancement is required. The acoustic proves this and just blew me away, I most definitely prefer it to the album version as a result. Keep up the good work, Trip was in my car for months I just couldn't get enough, can't wait to hear what you guys hold for the future.

Wonderful acoustic session! I had the good fortune to see Free do a solo show in L.A. a few years ago. Her voice is ethereal! I could listen to this on eternal loop.

@DanielDOA4: I have never come across any of Free's solo stuff live unfortunately. It's hard to even come by her studio stuff any more. Thank goodness I bought all of it before it fell into obscurity. It's a shame, really. As much as I love KT, her solo career was also impressive and should be shared with the world.
