The early 2000s were a very high-quality period for music. There are many such bands and musicians from those years. Even though most of them made quality music, they did not receive the attention they deserved. There was no social media and they could not spread widely. Of course, they had an audience but they could not promote themselves much because their sharing opportunities were more limited than now. Nowadays, everyone knows even the bands that make very bad music. They're making money they don't deserve at all, and from that perspective it's quite frustrating. Because it feels like injustice has been done to older bands.
