i already left a comment on one of your previous kidorikko casette uploads, but GOD. words cannot describe how insanely happy i am to see these be found. even though they only ever released two studio albums kidorikko has always been one of my favourite bands and their tunes have helped me through so many painful times. the emotions their music has brought out in me is like nothing else i've heard (except for maybe haruomi hosono/ymo), and i've been listening to all sorts of Wacky 80s Japanese Music since i was a preteen (i'm currently 18, for reference). for years i've hoped for these tapes to be found to a point where i just gave up any hope of even one of them resurfacing. it's honestly hard to believe my ears and my eyes right now (even though it's been like two days since i initially found them on youtube xD), this is a literal dream come true for me and i'm sure many others godspeed to both you and nyannyangapoo, the both of you are doing some great work perserving some amazing previously lost music, and hopefully more and more people will come to love kidorikko like i have o7

im 2 years late but god i love kidorikko, i never forget about them and their songs even when i explore other genres and songs. same with chakra. those two artists have a very big mark on me. i got what you meant when u said their songs got u through hard times, this type of music has happiness all over it 💛 japanese 80s new wave is just so unmatched.. ill never EVER stop loving it

i just discovered this band adn the fact there's not a lot of information on them makes me ABSOLTUELY SICK. godspeed soldier. i love this band now... along with yapoos. easily my top 2!! i hope one day I can find a concert recording to identify the synthesizers..

of course!! i totally agree! お面をつけた猫 is my all time favorite by them so i'm really happy to hear a different version!! it reminds me of riding on a carousel a little bit which i never thought about with the later version
