Yeah... I guess you are right. And if you look at him, you see that he is a multi-identity sort of guy. So, I am not surprised it comes out the same with his music. I am not saying that's bad. In fact I am the same way. He has a kind of hip-hop style of clothing, but it is mixed up with other styles, too, like with a pork pie hat and the long hair. I've seen him sporting skater clothes with a cowboy hat. But always he has his hair long. I sure hope he doesn't ever cut that hair. Because even though so many guys have long hair, on him it seems to say something. It is like a flag to resistance. I love, love, love that he proudly proclaims his trailer park heart. I have two Masters degrees and have been a full professor among other jobs, but I never deny that I grew up in a trailer park and that my daddy was a Sargent in the army. Again, you are spot on right about the Kid. And I for one love him because of it! :)

I just recently found this song and have added it to every playlist I have. I listen to it at 6+ times a day. And I browsed the comments and I am so astounded by how many people 50-60+ love his music. He definitely has a very broad range of fans and that's awesome. I haven't seen him live yet but seeing all of an older generation go to his concerts makes my decision to go much easier. Because I can't stand going and a bunch of mindless 20-30 yr olds just acting like fools. (and that's just my opinion of what I've seen in the past). Looking forward to getting tickets when he tours.

I'm 43 and bought tickets to one show and froze in winter in southeast Texas Beaumont he showed up for last song. Of course this was bad times and heartbroken with split from Pamela back in 2009 I think. But I'd indeed love to see kid at his top. I truly have a place in my soul for his music

I was in Sturges staying at the chip,kid was walking through with his people, we were sitting out at the picnic tables... he seen we had a couple half gallons of bean,walked up and asked if he could have a shot!! Checked out our bikes.. smoked and drank with us for about a half a hour till his peopl said it was time to move on... he is a great down to earth dude!!! I personally will never forget it!!!!!!!!
