🔠📚Kids Book Character A-Z Rap - Alphabet Aerobics - ABC Rap Read Aloud

This is a music video of my hype girl Scarlett and I performing a a song I wrote and produced. I. The song I go through the alphabet from A-Z using only picture book character names. As you know, I love children's books (any kind of book really) and believe that reading is the most important thing you can do for the brain, especially young brains. Unfortunately, as a society, we are doing less and less of it, so this is an attempt to promote reading to children in a different way than what is being done. Also, it was super fun to make! Please let me know in the comments which characters you wish were added. There are many that I really wanted to add, but some letters had so many (especially P) that I had to leave out really good ones. And some letters (I'm looking at you X!) I had to scrounge to come up with any. Most of the characters are from picture books, but there are a few middle grade book characters thrown in there too. My hope is that the kids, parents, teachers, caregivers, and anyone who likes reading or music will have as much fun watching this as I did making it.
This song was inspired by the rap group Blackalicious. They came out with a song called Alphabet Aerobics on their EP A2G in 1999. It's one of my favorite all time hip-hop songs and Gift of Gab is a legend. I could never hope to even come close to replicating what he does, but it sure was fun.
The beat came from Ryan R. Sullivan (AKA Sullybop). He is primarily a podcast coach and trainer, but is also a rapper and super cool guy. If you have a podcast, check him out! / sullybop
I learned how to mix and master the song from KZbin of course. Primarily from this channel: / @kellimusic . Kelli is a fantastic rapper and does how to videos for mixing and mastering on Adobe Audition. He also has a ton of different effect presets available for purchase. His videos are awesome.
