Great reminder B A. kids grow so fast and if your packing clothes for them in an emergency after six months good chance they won't fit. Have a Blessed Day to you all

I love this, as a parent as well, it is so refreshing whenever I come across other parents putting together bug out bags/go bags for their kids! And seeing what sort of items are added. It helps me to think of what I may be missing or how to better organize. As with my four year old, I don't want to over pack or under pack his bag.

Really glad your doing this!! Not enough videos out there for kids. Fire, first aid, spare water source, and high protein snacks......in each bag....is absolutely SMART!! Especially if you have small kids who cant light fire or do first aid...they can help carry extra needed supplies.....just in case. PREPARE PREPARE PREPARE!! THANK YOU! GOD BLESS!🙏❤️

Nicely done. 👍 For my kids I gave each one a fleece blanket from Walmart and a small inflatable pillow. I also tossed in a solar powered yard light withe the ground spike. These work a greet as night lights when put inside an empty soda bottle as a stand. They also have color coordinated glow sticks and wrist bands - one to hang on their pack and one for the wrist for ease in keeping track of them at night. Although their bags are for “bug outs”, They serve great for an impromptu “hey you are spending the night at Grandmas house bag,” as they have everything they need ( clothes toiletries crayons etc).

We also need to Train kids who are old enough. First aid is must! You never know when your kid could save your life.

They are already used to carrying heavy school bags for books. They can carry their own bag. Doesn't take a lot to teach kids they learn quick. And a deck of GO FISH cards for kids. And EMERGEN-C with immune boost. Good for sickness or stress. Whistles. Reflective tape. When needed you can put it on their clothes. Also add extra Vaseline cotton balls. Because you said you might have to wind up using their items.

Bug out bag are supposed to weigh 10-15% of a persons weight. It doesn’t leave much weight for some kids to carry. Solutions for kids who are 5-7 years old?

Excellent video. And quite a Bit more comprehensive kit than I was expecting for the kiddos. Trying to set up some thing for my nephew for a while. He’s a Boy Scout. But he’s a video gaming city slicker Like his dad. I’m gonna have to be a bit more forceful about it and get this kid out in the woods more often. Anyways great work. Thank you so much for the channel and all the work the two of you do. Have a safe Independence Day. And thank you for your service. And I’m sorry that this has become the nation that you fought for. May God bless you and your whole family. And may he bless everything that you put your hands to. Thank you again B.A.

I have one of those solar chargers too and it is bulky and been bulged a lil since I got it but has worked good so far
@SavageAirguns
@SavageAirguns 3 жыл бұрын
Be careful if it's bulging. Lithium Ion Batteries carry more energy per ounce then TNT and can explode bigger. Bulging may mean a lithium battery is leaking. If it is charging may cause it to explode eventually. Be safe and buy another. If it went off in your pack it would destroy everything on there and could hurt / kill you.

I keep meaning to put together a bag for my boy, but every time I get to it, he's grown another year older, or taller, and I have to rethink what to give him. At this rate, he'll be grown by the time I get around to it. Anyway, nice job. Thanks for the video.

ZERO problem with kids carrying (safety appropriate) group items in their packs! This is not "making your kid carry extra groceries home from the store", this is "making your kid carry some extra lifesaving items that will benefit and SAVE them and others" Tl;dr Make your kids carry a couple of group items if/when SHTF
