The kids diverted two streams to build this enormous dam which eventually burst and flooded the sand city of Shuttle. :)

I've been saying, they need to teach kids, what kids are actually wanting to do, and not this crap that most of them don't use growing up. If their interest is building: teach them tools for that. Art: teach them art If they have a thirst for knowledge give it to them. Fact is. If someone/anyone doesn't want to do something, they won't. Teaching them to build on their interests will only build success. But that's just a mom of threes' opinion. What do I know 🤭

I'm no karen and generally would support kids getting out to nature but.. If this was a true river I would be concerned. This is a creek. If it was a river the amount of silt created could be deadly to local population of fish. Kids or not... this is the reason building dams are prohibited in my local area. Silt and blocking in fish from spawning grounds or keeping them in a localised area is harmful to there survival. Lack of fish means lack of survival to people who depend on fish to survive. I am no tree hugging vegan but I am a conservationist. I'm happy atleast they destroyed it before they leftbuttjr silt created could suffocate the fish

@@Hacker_Kamyko yeah but the fact that we can do it is terrifying

@@obiwankenobi1608 I understand now. In my opinion I don't think it's terrifying but I just don't know how to respond in general. If it's like a Quarry then I think it's normal but if I went onto Google maps and saw that some rich Arabian Prince got his face carved out in the Arabian desert then I'd find it wierd and disturbing. Especially if you don't even have to zoom in too much to see it and it being very large. It's also annoying to see someone so narcissistic to have their face carved out on Earth for lots of people to see in the future. Unless you're doing it of someone else other than yourself, maybe a great historical figure perhaps, or someone from today or of great importance.

This is exactly what I'd have done as a kid, if I had a beach with a small river flowing on to it. Great :) I wonder how long the dam would have stayed uo for (and how much water it would have collected) if it had not been destroyed at the end? ;)
