Hi used less then one skein of red heart yarn with each color those skeins were 266 yards each.

Hey Linda I would decrease for a tighter cuff but by how much will determine how much tighter. So first cuff row do all doubles (you now know how many stitches you have and can determine how many you want to drop for tighter cuff) 2nd row you begin front and back post (you know how many you want to drop so on back post go around 2 double crochet instead of one. Effectively dropping one stitch making it tighter. Do that spaced out as evenly as possible for your desired amount.)
