I’m a 37 year old prepping to make homemade pasta for the first time. Although I actually have extensive kitchen experience- I was looking for a simple, basic, easy to follow recipe geared towards inexperienced cooks. I remember watching this 2 years ago its a tradition to come back to this once in a while I used to be obssed with this and pretend like iam making pasta from my play doh lol

I make pasta a lot and absolutely suggest trying semolina flour or special pasta flour instead of regular flour. Also to let the pasta rest outside the fridge in some plastic wrap for about half an hour before putting it through the pasta machine as this makes the dough less sticky. And instead of water try using olive oil! Making pasta is super fun and when you get good at it it’s so fun to experiment with making it different colors or shapes! Good luck!
