My sister used to live near destin I was like 14…thousands of sharks they looked like ants… I would have touched one on accident because that’s how close they were it was “unseasonably warm” . And there were also so many jellyfish in the water you could see them wash on shore people were getting stung left and right I’m 42 now it’s only gotten worse plus they still have crocodiles, snakes, sea anemones etc

don’t be afraid of them. most alligators aren’t very hostile and usually choose to avoid humans. when they do attack, they can be very aggressive but only if they’re provoked. just don’t go swimming in unfamiliar waters or murky creeks and lakes where they could lurk going unseen. they’re really nothing to worry about if you stay calm and don’t approach them.
