As a drummer, I followed Yoyoka for a long time and it led me to most of these players. Yoyoka is 14 but she's been playing for 10 years. Ellen on bass is 11. She and Yoyoka are the popular prodigies here. Both Ellen and guitarist Charlotte (14) started playing during the pandemic, so they only have 3-4 years under their belt. Vinya, the singer was new to me. She's 13 and really belts. Charlotte's 16-year-old sister Ella is on backup vocals. Bay, the only boy, is 9 here and seems to hold his own.

Hi Rollen, yes these kids are amazing! There's another kid band from the Philippines that sang this same song HYSTERIA. Theyre called MISSIONED SOULS. A lot of reactors are starting to react to them too!

Checked out Missioned Souls recording of Hysteria - it was OK, but not anywhere nearly as perfect and engaging as the Kids Rock for Kids recording. One thing I noticed with Missioned Souls was, that guitar parts where playing, without any of the two guitar players playing anything near what I was hearing. Indicate a level of play back and not a full live session. Also, there was no sign of the kids enjoying what they were doing.

Thanks for giving the kids some exposure. I never knew this song or Muse either but now I’m hooked on Hysteria.

They played this through 4 times (for different camera shots) never having played together as a band, though Yoyoka (drums) and Ellen (bass) have collaborations before. These kids give me hope for the future of rock. 😎👍

Aloha Rollen and thank you for helping spread the word about these talented musicians! They are having so much fun...it's very infectious! I hope they keep in touch with each other and eventually write some original material!! #KRFK

Your disclaimer was brilliant! Mythic! 🤘😱 Thank You for reacting to this. I'd hoped you might enjoy it, and you smiled! That bass-line is driving and relentless, Ellen could 'crack bank vaults' with it 😀 My drumming heroine, Yoyoka, builds a pocket so deep, "it'd swallow the Tirpitz" ①. Vinya has a great voice, and the guitarists were 'spot on'. They all performed superbly. You said it, _very_ tight. The original: _Muse - Hysteria [Official Music Video]_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZXQkGinjLx3jJo (3m:46s) I'm not sure, but I _think_ Yoyoka _might_ have improved the drums, and Ellen's base was super-crisp and articulate. Plus the mix has the original as reference, and the mixer, Ellen's Dad, Hovak, is very talented. Anyway, I like it, and I'm delighted you did too. Thanks again. Best Wishes. ☮ If I wanted to make a disclaimer to attract independent kids, I'd just copy yours. Summary: I'm bad, bad, and bad. 👍👍 Do you write? You use words in intriguing ways. You pull me in to your stories with incomplete, unresolved or obtuse comments. Are you, or were you, an aspiring script writer? Or are you a script writer? Anyway, I hope you have a great Summer. ① I'm British, and the Tirpitz was humongous and very, very scary in WW2. If Winston Churchill hadn't been permanently inebriated, he might have agreed to an armistice.

Any band with Yoyoka on drums and Ellen on bass is going to be very, very, very good. Yoyoka is world class.

Ellen Plays Bass is 11 and has been playing since she was 8. They just released another cover of Boston - Peace of Mind. I believe they recorded a total of 4 songs, so maybe 2 more soon.

You should listen more to Muse. They are arguably *one of the biggest live rock acts* for the last 25 years. They inspired a lot of younger bands these days. One of them is *The Warning* . Heck their bassline from "Hysteria" is currently one of the most played as trainer or practice by young generation of bass players.

Yoyoka has been playing since she was 2, was listed by Drummers World as one of the top 500 drummers of all time. She has some many credits to her name at such a young age, the list goes on and on. Check her channel and you will be very impressed.

For not knowing the song first and those kids they got you pretty good. Yoyoka is with her 14 Years of age already one of the best drummers of all time. Please research her. She is so much fun. Ellen on the bass was the one who got me to those kids and now after two years following them it just blows my mind every time they release something.

My man if you like this you have to see the family band MISSIONED SOULS from the Philippines, brother and sisters 10 to 15, they do Muse cover like everyone else but check the cover DIARY OF JANE by Breaking Benjamin, 3 young girls and heavy guitars while little brother pounds the skins🤟

Nice Trooper poster. These kids put Muse to shame. Ellen's (bassist) site is where I saw it first. No problems for restriction after a month.
@iqbalmuhammad29202 ай бұрын
Put *Muse* to shame? *Power trio* Muse that has sold millions of album, tour around the world until today, inspired young bands & their contemporaries, awarded multiple Best Live Act awards, are you serious? 😂😂😂 You are seriously joking. LOL. These kids are talented, not denying that. Come back when they have achieved 25% of what Muse has done for the past 25 years.
@americanswan6 ай бұрын
The kids did great, but you'll notice they need help. They need to be doing small festivals or whatever. The Warning sisters at their age were already on live stages for a couple years. These kids need a band to get moving or they'll be stuck on KZbin for years.

The drummer has been gigging since she was 4 years old with her own family band. She's made guest appearances with many other bands and having moved to USA from Japan two years ago has become a regular drummer at The Whiskey A GoGo ultimate jam nights in LA, as well as recording two albums and gigging with a jazz band

@@americanswan I don't know her plans but she's worked with some top musicians already. Check out her KZbin channel. I think a bright future lies ahead. Her name is Yoyoka

They aren’t officially a band, and since they live in different parts of the country, they’re unlikely to become a permanent band at this point, though it would be cool if they played some shows together during the summer break. Yoyoka and Ellen (bass) have done some collaborations in the past. 😎

Great reaction and thanks for highlighting these extremely talented kits. The drummer, Yoyoga, Is a world. Class drummer. At 11 years old, she was included in DrummerWorld's 500 best drummers and has appeared on the Ellen show twice. She is now living in los angeles and has been playing the ultimate jam nights at the whiskey in hollywood.
