You remind me of myself at that age. I'm now 55, my kids are grown, and I have grandkids. But we were always updating our home and making it feel warm and inviting. Enjoy those little moments, they go by fast. Stop to get the hugs, stop to enjoy the "moments". I regret I didn't do that enough and look back now and realize I was always busy working on the next thing or busy cleaning, or whatever it was that I thought needed to be done to have the "perfect home". I let my anxiety get the best of me at times. I have since apologized to my children and they reassured me they knew they were loved, but I just know I didn't enjoy the small moments like I should have. Life can get busy! All we have in this world is our family, everything else is replaceable. I love your channel!

Definitely enjoy every moment of every day. Because it goes too quick. this is my first month with no kids at home and I’ve been super busy with the new job that I started this month to keep me busy and I’m doing 50- 60 hours a week to occupy my time. I spent most of their lives at home when I was married and luckily the last 10 years I had my own house cleaning business so I was able to make sure that I scheduled clients when they were at school. I was thankful to always be home when they were. So it’s been very rare to have an empty house I’ve been making sure I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to be sad.except for handful of times. Especially when Trace Adkins song you’re going to miss this comes on then it hits. Soak up every second of the loving times stressful times even when they’re fighting because it’s gonna be quiet one day.

I’m sorry I feel like I haven’t missed any of your videos but why did you switch the girls room? Everything you do look so great. I love all of it and I’m old enough to probably be your grandmother lol but I do love your style and taste and you do have never ending energy. I had two kids. They weren’t that little as far as that close together and I never felt like I could get anything done when they were awake I’m amazed at how you just work around them so easily and just do your thing. Switching the rooms was a great idea. Your little girls are almost like twins, love their little outfits. Those ribs look delicious. We don't have an air fryer but have thought about getting one. It looks like you can cook a meal a lot faster than using your oven.

Girl this came out so cute, I knew it would. Don’t ever cut out those special raw moments. These not only are memories but they’re documented and you can pass these to them in years to come to share with them and their kids. Savor these moments because in a blink of an eye you will be saying “where has the time go, when did they become lil ladies” it goes by so fast. I was 52 when I lost my mom, my boys were all grown and had it not been for my grandson, who was 1 and 1/2 yrs then, I think I would have gone crazy with grief but because he was so little and didn’t understand death he still wanted to do what babies do, and I was raising him so weather I wanted to or not I had to take care of him and that kept my mind from wandering…. he was a godsend then and still is to this day. You will never get over losing a close loved one and I won’t tell you it gets easier, but you learn to cope I know you can do is take one day at a time one hour at a time one minute time and just breathe and thank God for family every day and enjoy every day every minute you have, because like they say, tomorrow isn’t promised. Beautiful you’re doing a good job baby girl .💕

I feel you where the kids are concerned, although on a much more difficult level. My oldest will be 32 in November. Two years ago, my daughter lost her 14 month old daughter. I had just spent a month with all my grands while my daughter dealt with her preemie. Exactly two months before she died we celebrated Harlyn Faye's first birthday. I will always treasure that time. So cry happy tears, mama. Your girls are beautiful. I have a memorial video on my channel.

The girls room looks great! I love the light switch cover and the lambs ear with the twinkle lights. They look so cute in their matching pjs. I love the raw, real life moments…keep including them. I live in Valdosta where we were hit bad by the hurricane. A helpful hint I just discovered is to fill up gallon size baggies with water and place them in your freezer. This works amazingly if power goes off. All of my things were still cold. They stay frozen for a long time and keeps things in freezer from going bad. Hope that will help everyone in the future if you need it. ❤️

Both rooms look lovely❤. I got all emotional when I saw you having your moment there. Our children are everything to us, and we never want to think of a time when they will be without us, no matter how old they are. It's the circle of life, and it sucks sometimes, but it's gonna come to all of us, so we have to just try to focus on all the good stuff. I knew Moonpie would play with that toy eventually 😂. I think dressing children when they’re little semi alike or alike is so cute. You only get that small bit of a window to enjoy that because once they become a certain age, especially school age they will tell you no I’m not dressing like her or him lol ,😂. ! I know the emotion that you’re feeling being a mama to children when they start growing up before you’re very eyes it’s very hard to see the changes that you have to make with them, but God will give you the grace and every time you will be able to handle the changes With tears, I’m sure because I’ve shed a lot myself. You’re a wonderful mama and Kyle is a wonderful dad. You guys are so blessed to have each other. I’m so sorry I’m behind on watching your videos sweetie. My sweet mom had a stroke, so my husband and I are with her and taking care of her until she’s strong enough for us to move her. It’s been a stressful time, but we’re getting through it. I’m so happy you’re all safe and doing well. I’m praying for those who have been affected by the hurricane.
