If you lived in Michigan and you miss too many days of school for example if kids attend South Lyon Community Schools and you missed too many days of school attendance office would contact the police department first time you get a notice either by mail email text or fax or you can be called by the attendance office second offense you can get a call from the police department and you have to go to court you have to do a trial you'll get a fine third offense you can get your kids taken away and you can go to jail this is if your virtual or in person either one so make sure you kids go to school and this is not just for one District this is for all around the state of Michigan so please make sure your kids go to School they are Hefty consequences if you do not send your child or children to school a majority of the schools an Oakland County use Oakland mistar made by Oakland schools Oakland schools is a ISD Intermediate School District schools in Macomb County use tienet it is for attendance and Records just like mistar and there is PowerSchool for a good amount of schools in the US and then there is Skyward PowerSchool for Macomb Skyward for Oakland some Oakland schools use PowerSchool I think and Skyward I do not know I know Skyward can be used in Oakland I think maybe a couple of the Macomb schools you Skyward I know a couple Oakland schools use PowerSchool it is attendance special education performance grades behavioral consequences disciplinary history enrollment history history from previous schools and criminal history Wayne County schools use mistar Washtenaw schools use tienet here are links for Oakland and Macomb www.mistar.oakland.k12.mi.us www.tienet.misd.net
