Kids Ten Commandments:
3. In A Life or Seth Situation, 11-year old Seth is primed for adventure, but his mother, Leila, is against any excursions into the dangerous desert. Seth and his friend Ephraim convince their parents to allow a “sleep over” in a small tent on the outskirts of camp, but at Seth’s impulse, wander off into the desert in direct disobedience of their parents. Thrust unwittingly into the world of Amalekite thieves during their illicit adventure, the boys learn firsthand the relevance and meaning of the 5h and 6th of The Ten Commandments (“ Honor your father and mother.” & “Do not murder.”) as they learn the value of obeying to their parents, as well as the sanctity of human life.
4. In Stolen Jewels, Stolen Hearts, trouble comes to the Israelites’ camp, home of 11-year old Seth, when Simeon, a handsome singer, literally turns the tents upside down with his lively songs and pocket-picking monkey, Martel. “Anything goes” is Simeon’s rule as he unsuccessfully tries to steal the heart of another man’s wife while Martel attempts to make Amos the rat the “fall guy” in his thieving. Through all this, Seth and the others learn firsthand the meaning and importance of the 7th and 8th of God’s Commandments: “Do not commit adultery.” and “Do not steal.”
