Sorry but modern trains are pretty boring. I was born and bred in Biggleswade and as a boy in the early 60s I would get very excited each time the Flying Scotsman passed through the town, steam trains were exciting and a marvel of engineering. Back then diesel trains were becoming more common but electric was science fiction of the future for us local boys.
