As a correction the voltage work is incorrect it should equal 12v and it should be .8amps x 15 ohms = 12 volts as you can see you have 12 dc volts to start off with at your cell or battery

Just as a fair warning, it wasn't this easy when I took the test at all. Especially when you take the computerized version of the test, every time you get a problem correct it ramps up the difficult. By the time you finish the test, you will be dealing with fairly complex problems for a test testing basic knowledge and you will be dealing with KCL and KVL laws, and more. You will be asked several little questions probably more than you will deal with circuits. This is coming from somebody who took the PICAT, and the ASVAB twice. You will definitely need to study more than this to get a good score in this section. Good Luck!

@@NebulousPenguin The absolute best I've found is called MathDVDTutor. You have to pay, and you might not like that, but he's an amazing teacher. He can start you from the very, very basics and move all the way up. Just as an FYI, I did only 20% of the course and got a 93 in electrical. If you want a 99, I recommend doing more of the course. As you start answering more questions correctly, it will move away from basics, so beware.
