They are playing week in week out against generally better players who have had premier league experience. We are performing as I would expect us to - close to being good enough to stay up and we need to keep going. It’s part of the journey. The reason they make mistakes is because we are being pressed and there is no time, against top top players. We aren’t playing Oxford or Plymouth. All of Brentford’s players would get into our first team, and you need to be more reasonable in your expectations. 😊

McKenna has his theory and I respect that but someone has to tell him that if the defence is poor including the keeper you never win.

He’s got us from utter nowhere to the premier league in two seasons with limited resources. We probably got promoted too quickly, and have a squad that is learning and coming together at this level. Scoring three goals away at Brentford is a good achievement, this is a top top level league.

@@splendidrush1 No, he has had limited resources. In league one and the championship we were limited by what could be spent based the financial rules. In the premier league, even by spending more significantly, the value of the squad is still less than other teams. To suggest he has had unlimited resources is not true.

Last season you brought in Premiership players on loan that you could never have afforded without your sugar daddies.... the idea that McKenna has performed some kind of miracle is wide of the mark.....

Defence would be a whole lot more solid and comfortable with a solid and more commanding keeper behind them..... Hate to pile in on any of our players... But Muric "has" to deal with that winner for Brentford.

despite the loss and the defensive performance, this could have gone any way and we could have walked away with 3 point if not for some very dubious decisions, we keep going and it will pay off eventually

A striker misses a good chance and no one says a thing but a keeper makes one mistake and he is the worst ever. Both effect the result. Football fans.

I think we need to enjoy this journey for what it is a day out to watch some premier league teams and world class player's. Realistically we are a Championship team and as such we need to realise that we can't compete for 90+ mins at this level !! There's no shame in that and as the old saying goes " you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" 😅

We won’t win a single game with Muric in goal and League 1 defenders. I understand we have Twanzebe and Greaves are out, but I’d rather have Walton in goal, he did well against Liverpool for our opening game and Muric has consistently underperformed, he’s a League 1 goalie at best. He’s a half decent shot stopper but his decision making is awful and he’s terrible with his feet. He was the only summer signing I didn’t like and he’s spent the whole time at the club vindicating me.

​​@@paulstaxithirsk- Probably because we were short in the GK department after Hladky left, he probably didn't expect to pay that much for him so he's not gonna stick him in the bench.. but I think Walton should be given a run.
