We should absolutely bring back KT but he will need protected and game time saved for Europe and the bigger domestic games. Therefore it’s v important to keep GT too. Probably why BR was a bit grumped at the songs.

Brendon emphasised the need to pass back sometimes in order to change the attack! I thought that was a bit condescending to the knowledgeable football fans out there, some who have watched more football than him in his lifetime. Brendon just doesn't get the fans concerns with his sometimes tippy tappy football around our own box between McGregor, Taylor and a centre back. This has nothing to do with changing their attack. This is about ball retention playing sidesways and backwards in dangerous areas which the fans get frustrated with. When McGregor and Tylor was out of the team last week we played more direct fluent football. As soon as the players mentioned are put under pressure a lot of the times they pass the ball backwards or sideways. McCown on Sunday was put under pressure, he stepped sideways and passed the challenging player playing a great quick and direct pass to Maeda who then passed For Klun to score. McGregor has great experience as captain playing international football, champions league, and successfully winning trebles and doubles, I expect more from him, to be braver on the ball, to be more direct and creative. I didn't like the fans singing for K.T. either as I agreed with Brendon that it was disrespectful to G.T. But I disagree with him decrying the fans for it, you don't have to like or respect it but you have to let them express what they feel.

It wasn't disrespectful to anyone.. it was sang with excitement at the thought of a legend returning to the club. Rodgers is not the gatekeeper of speech or expression and should concentrate on the team NOT what the fans are singing. GT has made it clear he wants away so is that respectful to the fans?
