Note for those wondering: iirc ender pearls are counted as entities. The ender dragon launches entities that get near her wings, so when Dev threw his pearl at her she launched the pearl away which is why it didn't register.

not sure about that, because Dev took a while switch to a different item. Eating the endstone also takes a while, so him doing both might've been to slow to save himself. The mod's game mechanic could maybe also preserve fall damage accumulator like with chorus fruit, meaning he couldn't MLG anyways
