This is one of the rare songs that emotionally moves me every time I hear it, Not sure why but there are very few songs that captivate me like this one. Maybe the Rain Song or Ten Years Gone by Zeppelin. Keisza showed up in my feed with Hideaway the other week … I had actually never heard of her or her music because I listened to more rock than anything. Within a week, I have watched Hideaway about 20 times and Strangers is not far behind. After researching her story and finding out about how she clawed her way back to life, I mean, who doesn’t love this story to go along with the insane amount of talent she possesses and shares with us ? She has won me over, big time and I am pulling hard for her to gain the recognition she rightly deserves . She is exactly what this genre of music needs right now.

It never ceases to amaze me just how deep your musical library knowledge must be @kiesza The little nuances and bits of influence I hear in your very own and distinct sound is endless and far reaching. from classical violin concertos, piano sonatas, all the way to the prog experiments of the likes of Steven Wilson and Dream Theater and back to the pop musings of the Michael Jackson/Madonna's, spin the record off and there's a bit of daft punk and the basment jaxx's of the world seeping through the deephouse/edm styling of your first two tracks off this record. You just ooze this really cool vibe of someone who loves and appreciates such an eclectic taste in music and sound. The cultural blend of these influences forms such a uniquely vibrant sound that is so fitting to go along with the expressive and preformative art you display both visually and artistically on stage whether big or small and intimate. From a big home town fan with nothing but admiration - i hope you keep your musical journey alive for many years to come despite the obstacles you've already faced. You have me grooving out to every song while reflecting on all the different musical journey's i've been on in my own music discovery over the years while listening to your music.
