Obviously not saying he would not have done it regardless, but he had to, someone fainting and lying on the ground between others who have not noticed, that's how people die and have dies at such concerts. From what it looks like on this video, he probably was notified via his In-Ears that sth is going on. They seem to have a pre-agreed process, as it should be, very well organized team.

I’m a latecomer to Ed Sheeran. I didn’t discover him until earlier this year. But I do believe he is a true musician and lover of music. When I saw the video of him and Andrea Bocelli doing Perfect, i saw his true appreciation of Bocelli‘s superior voice. Sheeran didn’t appear to be concerned with singing a duet with such a voice, instead he appreciated it. He is continuing to rise in my estimation of his talents.

He’s fantastic. If you like this song, he has a lot of others in his vast catalog that you will probably like too. A lot of people think his pop hits like Shape of You are all he is, but it’s the opposite-those songs are not typical of most of what he’s written.
