Kiev 88 shutter knob and speeds - part 1

Hello! I was hoping you could help me! I'm doing a CLA of my Kiev 88, following the guide by Steve Ash. It says in the guide there is a gear with a one-way-clutch that should **never** be lubricated, and I can't seem to figure out which one it is. Do you know? Thank you!

The big winding knob connects to two gears that run the gears of the film magazine. The first gear should be connected to a little hook that prevents it from turning in the opposite direction. Never models have a one way spring underneath the gear, thats why Steve disrecommends lubrication.The other big gear with the cut that connects to the magazine can be lubricated with a drop of watch or clock oil. The big gear also contains a 'lock' that clicks in place when the shutter is wound, providing second protection for the gears 'unwinding'. Good luck with the CLA. :)

@@Exaquir Thank you so much, I hope it works out well too! So the one-way-clutch is actually a spring, and should be along the side wall of the camera, not along the floor?

Hi, Volgens mij kan ik u adresseren in het Nederlands. Ik heb zes weken geleden een Kiev 88 gekocht, welke een probleem heeft met de sluitergordijnen bij bepaalde sluitertijden. Na wat zoek erk kwam ik uw video tegen en vroeg ik mij af of u de tijd en expertise heeft om mij te helpen om een oplossing voor dit probleem te vinden. Alvast hartelijk dank!

Dag Marten, bedankt voor je reactie. Het lukt me niet om ern privé bericht te sturen via KZbin. Je kan me vinden op het analoog foto forum als Mschekkerman. Als je me daar een bericht stuurt kan ik je de nodige adressen en adviezen geven.
