This video presents the beginning of a walk-visit to one of the 3 oldest monasteries in Ukraine, which has existed for 10 centuries on the banks of the Dnieper - St. Michael's Vydubitsky Monastery. It is an architectural monument of national importance. According to many experts in architecture and its history, the Vydubitsky Monastery is one of the best architectural ensembles in Ukraine. It harmoniously combines the styles of many eras and fits organically into the landscape.

This shooting took place at the end of September 2024. In the first part, we took a closer look at the height differences and tiers on which the monastery buildings are located, especially the refectory church, which opens 2 floors from the side of the monastery gate, and only 1 upper floor of the building from the central side. The value of this small building lies in the fact that it has survived to this day in its original form and has not been rebuilt. This time we managed to look into one of the lower rooms, which are used as utility rooms and where candles are now made by hand.
And as usual, many different flowers bloom in the area.
