Another colourful military parade by Rwanda Defence Force || Officer Cadets Pass Out

On Friday 4th November 2022, President Paul Kagame who is also the Commander-in-Chief of Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), commissioned 568 Officer Cadets who were joined by 24 others who graduated from seven different countries. The colourful ceremony was comprised of a military parade by the graduating officer cadets who formed eight guards while the other two guards were made up of escort military officers.

As a senior staff trainer, I had the privilege of training Rwandan officers in peacekeeping operations at Camp Gako in Kigali. As a contract trainer in Africa for the last 14 years, Rwandan troops are probably one of the most professional groups of military members I've ever seen. RDF battalions have distinguished themselves in Darfur and other locales where the UN has called on them to act with discipline, efficiency, and professionalism. What an impressive commissioning ceremony! Good luck to this latest group of young lieutenants in their careers!

Watching from Jamaica: We recently hosted the president of Rwanda on a state visit because we in Jamaica truly love this man and the people of Rwanda. Seems like in Rwanda things are very organized. Best military parade I have so far watched on the African continent. The ground is also neat and clean unlike in other African countries where you see dust flying from the parade

I'm a kenyan but Rwanda 🇷🇼 is on another level in terms of cleanliness , discipline and respect. Thy also love visitors very much. One unique thing about this country is that there is no petty thiefs. have been there a some time back and i enjoyed the visit. Much love our east african young brothers and sisters. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
