In a military uniform, President Paul Kagame and Commander in Chief of Rwanda Defence Forces on Wednesday, presided over the conclusion of the final phase of the annual Combined Arms Field Training Exercise at Gabiro Combat Training Centre.

J'étais adolescent, et on recevait les images d'un jeune général, chétif à la tête de troupe qui entrait dans une Kigali dévasté par tant de morts et de destruction. Avec mon défunt petit frère (Paix à son ame) nous sommes tombé "amoureux" de ce libérateur, de ce génie. Et depuis mes études en Russie et en Finlande, mon affection pour ce GD Homme n'a pas changé, mais bien au contraire. En plus du courage, de la pondérance et de la sagesse, le bon Dieu lui a donné l'intelligence de faire progresser son pays. Souvent je rencontre des Rwandais (à raison d'ailleurs) imbu de leur personne, et souvent un peu méprisant à la limite. Ils oublient souvent d'ou ils viennent. Ce Monsieur est resté humble et cultive toujours l'excellence. A le voir dans sa tenue militaire, à voir cette armée en tenue propre et disciplinée, je me dis, que de parcours, que de chemin, grâce à cet homme, au travail collectif, et à la capacité de résilience. Ce Monsieur tout chétif ))))-il l'est resté d'ailleurs )))- qui a déplacé des montagnes. GLOIRE ET HONNEUR A CE MONSIEUR; Je suis au GARDE A VOUS MON GENERAL! YD.

I hope the Rwandan Army has advanced in its military discipline. Fighting your ally Uganda in Kisangani during the Second Congo War over looting diamonds was a military disaster. Although Kitona Operation was a military masterpiece even if it failed. It's unfortunate, the RPA was evolved in atrocities in the Kivus. You were a formidable foe to the ZDF. I hope you learnt something from us.
