HE is often a worse ammo choice against destroyers when playing a battleship. When using AP, an overpen is guaranteed, which is generally between 1200 to 1500 damage depending on the battleship. If you use HE, there's a good chance some of that damage gets absorbed by the modules, making it a less reliable choice. Especially considering the reload time as well. Using HE is better on battleships with a small number of guns and low AP alpha like Richelieu or ships with monstrous HE like Thunderer and Conqueror.

Such an incredibly lucky matchmaking, I wish 1 day I would be so lucky - during rush facing NO BBs with torps and being the only BB with torps, also not really targeted by HE spammers - Kii is such a juicy target to be burned down ...

If you compare them it's gonna be like Tripitz has lower armour HP fire power and guns than Kii so she can fucked up by big cal scheiße Shell but has good speed and enough fire power to destroy some cruiser or destroyers that didn't fast so much (also her armour can bounce some little or medium cruiser Scheiẞe AP shell) and Kii has more armour HP and fire power than Tripitz then she can Omiwa mo shindere everything but because of she has slow speed and ship has big profile (but still better than Yamato profile) then she can easily to spot and target by P L A N E S and T O R P E D O S

@@azravalencia4577 U know German AA better than Japanese AA in even real life , German multiple barrel AA ( 4 barrels i think ) use only 3-4 men to control and have good rof while Japanese AA 3 barrels AA use 5+ men to control and have bad rof

Kii, the strange beast. Can you live with the rage inducing guns and the layout on Amagi and enjoy the process? Kii is essentially Amagi like Alabama is NC. The small difference is in the armour protection and the torps. BTW, do not rely on this video: 99% of the times Kii guns will not perform as they do here, especially below 12 km.

@@dziugyslovs2586 Mainz is surprisingly durable, provided you watch who is shelling you If they have bigger guns than 380, you start kiting Kii is a safe bet, as BBs are easier, but it comes to you at the end I can recommend both, but I prefer Mainz

Im just an observer of WoWs. I dont play the game, but fun to watch. Where do all the enemy torpedoes come from towards the end of the match? I see this many times, but dont see where theyd be coming from. No planes, or ships nearby. Is there an undetectable enemy sub out there?

The 2 destroyers he is against are far enough away to be undetected so they are launching in a pincer movement as fast as they can reload them

KGV, the NY of T7. Every shot does hellish amounts of damage to it and holy armor...hows that bouncing so much. Even vs AI the ship doesnt bounce shells like that anymore and such a good game, but a loss in the end. Huge reason I quit pvping. that got so old. Every good game was a loss, meanwhile when I played like shit, id get a win...

@@vandheerlorde6570 yeah pretty much a jealous boy. I mean how can the enemy team fucked up so much and forget about Kii's torpedo tubes? And also the Kii player doesn't have a chance of winning this match if he doesn't push and protect the caps from the two enemy DD's? The enemy Richelieu has the chance to ram him before it is too late. So all in all the Kii player makes the right choice to use the enemy's mistakes to his advantage.

After the Alaska duel he was actively evading torpedoes which was his best chance at winning if the Kitakaze could stay alive. He wasn't trying to pick a fight. He didn't switch ammo because that's a 27sec window he might need to shoot (which he did need to kill the Asashio). So I'm not sure I can find any major fault in his decision making.
