He did sing it, but Mr. Quintanilla wanted to include this song into the album because Pete Astudillo (Selena's writing team) wrote this song for Grupo Mazz when Jimmy Gonzalez reached out to him to write a song for them. So that's why it was included in the Tribute! Jimmy and Abraham were long time friends
