Honestly it’s sad ppl have to even lie about wanting to take a mental day. They were wrong for calling him out like that . That was mean & very embarrassing. If they didn’t apologize , they should. Although he lied , this wasn’t necessary.

This should have been something that was just done between coworkers in their office space... to blast him on air like this with thousands of people listening is just wrong. Getting a PI to stalk him all day is a completely different story, that never ever should’ve happened. That is so humiliating, unprofessional and EXTREMELY invasive. Just, wow. I wouldn’t blame Pete if he ended up leaving. Public shame and humiliation is never the way to solve anything. What a bad look.

First of all when I'm sick and I went to get some food to eat that means I'm hungry and about 12:PM if it looks like I'm eating icecream or something that means I'm getting better, sick doesn't necessarily mean your crippled. So this PI thing of yours goes out the door and on the floor.

I think both sides are in the wrong here. of course it's not acceptable to fake sick to not have to go to work, but you don't have to call him out on it on national (right?) radio and then put it online for the whole world to see. this should have been handled privately.
