This anime has so much potential, but sad it's only 13 episodes and one of them is a recap. It should've been 24 - 26 episodes at least. 13 something anime is alway rushed to finish.

@MD1ism It's because the last four episodes (The OVA) was more of a tribute to the 1973 live action show, Kikaider 01, than part of the anime. Kikaider 01 (not animated) was season 2 in the original Kikaider series, and I guess they wanted to cut the funding or something for the animation so the story for Kikaider 01 The Animation was really crammed, but still containing most of the elements of the original show. That's why it sucked so hard with an amazing last 15 minutes.

Kid just watched his mom commit suicide, Why isn't she at least trying to comfort him. Yeah I get she has to fix the Gemini system but her little brother I can imagine is probably in distress, and depressed as all get out. Are we sure SHE'S not a robot?

How would you feel watching someone who you thought loved you suddenly commit suicide? Seriously dude? You don't just get over something like that in a day UNLESS you don't have any emotions at all.
