I'm not 100% sure about it (maybe people alreday said it) but I read something about this song being about his relation with his dad. It would make a lot of sense, but I'm not sure if its true.

@@kikicruor well, it's not exactly known, but he avoids talking about his dad (he clearly changes subject in interviews/podcasts). As we understand, there's a broken relationship there, and his dad is kinda absence. And it seems like it's something that got worse with time, beacause he used to tell some funny stories about his dad in early videos. The song talks about "how can i see you so close, but also being the furthest point of my life" an talks about that being "his greatest wound". Lucas also doesn't smoke, but his dad does.. and adding all that to the fact that he public said a lot of times that he's not the type of person that gets attached to girls (so it's less likely that he's talking about that kind of relationship), i think it makes a lot of sense to assume that this song is about his dad. It carries very strong feelings on the lyrics and also in the melody.
