Ghibli works as a whole changed my life, I became an artist and writer, mostly due to those fantastic tales I've seen as a kid. And Joe Hisaishi was an incredibly big part in it. No matter how sad I am over anything, this piece can bring a smile to my face, all the time.

I know the feeling. I have also seen something that changed my life. I watched nightmare at elm street when I was an 8 year old kid. Oh boy, was I inspired! Ever since that day, I dream of becoming an executioner when I grow up. Sadly, this job is hard to come by because death penalty has been decreasing since the medieval ages. I may have to find employment in the illicit private sector....

A really great performance. As a composer, Joe Hisaishi is such an inspiration to me. I'd love to attend one of his concerts someday.

This song ranks with An American in Paris in capturing the emotional uplift of traveling to a new city and experiencing the joy of a foreign place. On a sunny, 60 degree day in January, this song guided me through my first walk in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. Domo arigato, Joe.

Everything in this world is temporary and will one day pass away. God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us because the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. “As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one”, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” and that’s why we’ve been by grace saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ. And so there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
