There are so many arguments in the comments about her being Korean or Japanese. Kiko's mother is zainichi Korean, which means her mother is Korean BLOOD but lived in Japan, and Kiko also lived in Japan since childhood. Her father is American and Kiko was born in Texas, so that is why she is both an American and Japanese citizen, but with Korean genetics.

Keep going! Water will help you the most! I was on the same boat in my early 20s. Had acne even after graduating college. Went down the accutane route and even then my acne was coming back and I hated my skin. Try to really get the skincare and diet portion right- hydrating face masks, eye creams, and jugsssss of water help me the most. Listen to the people who have similar skin as you and get all the tips and product recos you can get! It's much more helpful than trying to wander your way down the research.

The only thing you need is water, 8 hours of sleep, clean silk pillow cases, and then buy a very good oil based alcohol free cleanser, retinoid serum for night, vitamin c serum for the day, and always chemical sunblock with spf 50 and pa+++ and in 2 months you r skin will be better than ever And depending of your skin you can also have some natural anti allergic clay based face mask for hydration 3 times a week And if you have a good beautician you can go to have a mechanical pore cleaning once in 3 months And never do any makeup This routine helped me to have the best skin in my life and for the long run its the cheapest way to get the best results It might sound expensive but the products like serum last for a long time
