Hi Kiko! Just wanted to say it is very cool to see someone like you talk to the fans without being condescending. You're talented, honest, and a kick ass player who clearly enjoys what he does! Rock on, forever!

You just made my day bro - no fake guitars or parts - I’m a musicians and it drives me nuts that so many bands are playing with tracks and only playing the minimal on their instruments

Hi Kiko! My question is how you remember songs after recording new album because now its been quite some time already when you wrapped example the upcoming album of course you rehearse it before the tour but is it hard to remember how did you actually play it note to note etc.
@aninternetuser43062 жыл бұрын
I'd like to know this too. I recorded one song and I already forgot most of the exact notes

Queen of the Night is an amazing song! It was on my regular playlist rotation in the 90's. I actually prefer the non-orchestral version because it's more raw, but I had to get it on Napster (90's again!) because it was impossible to get Angra CD's in the USA in the 90's.

Thanks for the Q & A today. I think for professionals or advanced players a large part of stage presence comes out naturally in the way you play & being able to hit the floor marks on stage ( where your to be standing and when...) most important thing is making contact with your audience. That's a challenge in itself in a large arenas for any performer. Thanks for throwing " Queen of the Night " out there, definitely checking that out... 👍 hope to see you guy's in Peoria ( no jogging on the south side ) Boa noite 🖤Kris IL 🦋 Q: How did you come up with Sertao 👍from Open Source ( what's the story behind that piece....please & thank you.)

Never practice only sitting down folks, then go to a gig and expect things to feel good. Everything will change with posture. Practice and rehearse as you mean to perform!

QUESTION: Hey Kiko, you are a multi instrumentalist, composing for both vocal and vocaless music. Have you ever consider composing for movies or games? Or have it happened or had you any propositions? That is something I would like to see. Your way of thinking/composing and not necessarily being rock/metal. And also, how it would link with audiovisual. Thanks for your videos, and keep it up!

Hi, Pablo. I know Kiko has his newsletter emails where you can get that kind of information. Kiko always tells what he's been up to, listening to, reading etc. I hope you'll like it. I don't remember how I signed up for his newsletter, but maybe someone here knows it and can help. 🤘🏻

hi Kiko, since you've mentioned Dave's guitars, I would like to know, in your opinion, does Dave's old Dean sound difference than his new Gibson when you are rehearing and performing? if yes, is the difference huge, or just subtle. Thank you very much :)

Hi Kiko, what are some scenarios where it’s better to NOT play a solo based off only the major or minor key throughout the song? In this way, you’re using modal interchange. I’m having trouble understanding how to apply major or minor scales over each chord in the progression.

How to get decent guitar tone, vocal tone, drums tond, bass tone overall band sound on stage, we have a rock band in Nepal and participating in band competition. The big issue is unable to get overall decent presentable band sound on stage. We do not expensive music gear nor do we have own sound engineer. At Nepal we don't have so much money nor access to best music equipment. During practice our band sounds good enough but not pn stage. Do you have suggestions to get better cohesive band tone on stage with the cheap equipment that we own?? Your ideas are highly required here.
