I think the meaning behind this song is that, people feel more free at night than in the morning. In the night all you want to do is have fun because there's barely people around. 2:52 gosh i love thsi scene, bcs it feels like both happy and sad depending on how you interpret it. clearly, there is someone suffering, unhappy, but then the 'creature of the night' comes into the room to take them away, and you can see how the person looks so much more happy and free (literally even says it in the subtitles) once they're flying away, one with the night. its kinda like peter pan in that way

Kikuo, maybe this song transmits more than it should. I am not a relatively remarkable person, I do not usually attract attention and I go unnoticed in front of the majority. I don't think that's the reason why "Yoru no Uta" makes me feel high feelings, I mean, the melody, the rhythm, the lyrics, the composition of the whole song makes it excellent for someone like me. Especially at the moment when I feel so free that I could navigate among the clouds and feel alive. The heaviness that rests on my shoulders is released, of course, It is the clear example of a free, lucid dream. I actually feel more capable during the night, but in the end, I can only start from dawn.
