This is a sad story but a common one among families in diaspora. Children despite how grown you think you are respect your parents and never sow a seed of discord among your parents.

I'm a woman but we are the big contributers of division between fathers and children especially when the children are blessed. Whether this man has another family or not ....those kids should respect their father coz the mum moved on with her life... May God grant them wisdom to seek blessings from the father for they might not be affected by the fathers pain but their generations can be greatly affected.

Am not convinced that this mzee dint beat his wife regularly kulingana na vile anaeleza..children hurt much when the mother is mistreated. Revenge inakujanga hivyo. Despite all, children should respect fully their parents, help them and show them love just the way they provided. Muciari ni Ngai ya kerì. My opinion.

Being in Dementia Care and seeing how everything is vanity changed how i view life. I have seen accomplished people humbled in death. No point in carrying bitterness in your life.Live for the day and enjoy what comes with that day. Parents cursing children who like everything else, are gifts from God is not good. Let go and let God in everything - is my motto. Lord keep reminding me that this world is not my home and am just passing by🙏

A loving father should never curse his children. The children often side with the weaker person... He was hostile to them and their mother... However the children must honour their parents to be blessed...

I agree, there are extremely toxic parents who make a permanent mark on their children's lives. However bitter they make you feel try to avoid them and don't answer them back because many look for chance to curse you, and hide there failures and the mistakes they did when the children were growing up. If possible support them from a distance. Trust God coz he only has a true version of the whole truth
