She is there. She has been dancing here and there. During the Bride and her father dance, K1 was singing about the bride exclusively, the bride mum came. Pasuma quickly told Wasiu about her, and K1 interrupted the song on the bride and began to sing about the bride-mum. Also, Pasuma switched and began to spray the bride mum. Apart from that, I also her when bride and groom were dancing. When she was in the group, the groom also began to spray. Incidentally, it was the same year 1966, that KSA single was released. I also had a ringside seat to the evolution Fuji post civil war, because the next compound to my house was an event centre, where most of these people played on weekends. Your accusation on Wasiu arrogance is very valid. Certainly, you cannot compare Wasiu's character to the Fuji Creator. Last year at Ogogo 60th, Wasiu was on band stand. When it was the turn of Ogogo to dance, Wasiu did not ackowledge him, but just kept on singing the praises of those who were spraying him. Also as Queen Salawa Abeni started spraying Ogogo, Ogogo tried to draw attention of K1 to it, but K1 completely ignored Salaw too. In contrast, the last time I watched Barrister in concert was 1994 in Canada. At that concert, one stupid boy was trying to monopolize the show by spraying barrister for over 30 mins. After Barrister sang his praise for about 3 mins, Barrister went on to other people that were also spraying him. When the boy did not leave after about 30 mins, Barrister told to leave the stage. The boy was spraying his money, but Barrister took control because he knew what the boy was doing was not right, in trying to monopolize a show that had about 300 people. Back to this party, I think K1 tried to improve on his character here. With respect to Fuji, he has been trying to be nicer now, since he got his hand burnt by trying to denigrate Barrister as not the creator of Fuji. We cannot blame him for not giving all the other artists a chance. To be very sincere, I don't think that Pasuma will like it. Pasuma has a very slavish relationship towards K1. K1 is his semi-god. Look at how he was crying because K1 was playing for him. Also, most of the evening, he was standing on the stage with K1 instead of attending to his guests. K1, however, tried his best here, by trying to include other artists in his song. He mentioned everyone he could remember whether present or not, and acknowledged Kollington as Baba, something he doesn't like to do very often. So for that evening, I will give K1 A+. Pasuma was the closest Fuji artists to him in the last 10-15 years, and he did handle the show like a father to a son. Kudos to him for this you. May God bless you and yours too.
