I think what's happening is that because he's frozen himself on the goomba, he's accumulating bounces rapidly. Once he unfreezes himself, the game applies all of the bounce modifiers at once, causing an insane bounce.

(1:43) I don't much about the Braid speedrun community, but I think you can save some frames by moving the platform to where you need it to be so you can corner bounce when you exit instead of the left edge. Saves like 2 frames but

11:11 WTF? Тень даже не дотронулась до переключателя и игрок сделал всего 3 прыжка а на перемотке тень делает 4 прыжка ещё и включила переключатель! Это бред

как я понял еще один прыжок случился, поскольку первый прыжок случился раньше, от того, что поднялась платформа; и последний прыжок появился, потому что скорее всего он был нажат в воздухе у последнего, но так как сначала он был раньше, то сейчас он стал вовремя и поэтому прыжок сработал возможно объяснил непонятно(
