Bells of the Church: • Bellringing at St Andr...
Video of the Mechanism: • Kildwick St Andrew Chu...
Chimes start at 0:12 (also listen out for the collared doves!)
Recorded on my Android Phone this time (with a noticable difference in the quality), recording the clock of St Andrew's Church strike midday (fun fact: due to it's length, this church is nicknamed the Lang Kirk o'Craven). The clock was a gift W. Currer of Steeton in 1709 and was refurbished in 1828 on subscription, as it is stated on the single face. The bells here are a 15 cwt ring of 8 tuned to F cast by John Taylor & Co in 1914. and are being rung again by a new band that is being trained up (which I have been involved in helping them on Thursdays when I can)
