All those amateurs and even pros can't visually present their skills in a way that makes the non-skater crowd give a damn. This guy is visually one of the best on the planet and that does matter. As a non skater but fellow freestyle athlete I can honestly say Kilians style combined with the quality of the video is much more entertaining to watch than the cookie cut X games generation skaters. He is expanding the audience in a time when the mainstream spectator is getting bored with skating.
