@@EsCey318 What "balance to the Force" means depends on who you ask. The two most common answers are: 1. The Light Side is the only natural part of the Force since it encourages peace and harmony. The Sith and other Dark Side users twist the Force/natural order for their own selfish desires and have to be stopped. Apparently, this is the one George Lucas intended. 2. The Force actually requires both the light side and dark side to have balance. The Jedi and Sith just became too stubborn in their ways and Anakin was the Force's reset button, allowing it to start fresh as represented by Luke and Leia. This is what a lot of other people, including myself, like to go with.

I think the reason Obi and the others never really did anything was because they felt as if they needed the clone army. Like from the arena scene we see they are struggling and about to lose and the clones swoop in and save the day. As the clone wars go on more and more trust is built with them and they are needed more as the fighting keeps going. In animated series they get even closer to the truth, learning that dooku started the army and the implanted chips from birth and STILL don't change anything. Maybe just goes to show that the order was being arrogant and focusing too much on a war they shouldn't be fighting.

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find any fictional character to rival Tolkien's world in terms of shear amount of development. And that's including inanimate objects.

The prequels are actually good movies. It's just that the butthurt OT-only fans that circlejerked their opinion that the prequels are bad which eventually became the public opinion. Now that there are more young people with a fresh non-bias view of star wars, the prequels are getting a lot more love these days.
