Usually I don't get emotional during movies but seeing Beatrix at the beginning of this and at the end with her daughter caught me right in the feels. Maybe because of how much crazy shit she's been through and how well Uma Thurman did portraying a desperate mother who just wants to see her daughter...who also happens to be extremely good with hand to hand combat and swordplay, lol. I need to rewatch both films.
