It's interesting how out of everyone she fought, the one that was closest to killing her was not any of the four main targets, but a minor accomplice.
@DragonmanX902 жыл бұрын
Budd pretty much had her too; both outside his RV and her "Texas Funeral". Had he genuinely wanted her dead instead of just incapacitated, Budd said it himself, he could've "performed her coup de grace with a rock." By all normal physical standpoints, she should not have been able to get out of that box, let alone tunneling out of the grave they put her in. I agree with you; just saying that Out of all of the Bride's DVAS targets, Budd was the closest. Unless you count Elle's aborted poisoning attempt while she was in the coma.

More than that, he was the only one out of the five to feel the deepest remorse, that's why he spent years in self exile in squalor. For those that don't know, the weapon is called a "Meteor Hammer". It's an ancient Chinese weapon designed to disarm (the perfect thing to use against a Hanzo sword). It also creates a ton of force damage if hit with it. However, it's extremely difficult to control and its drawback is you have to keep the weapon in motion to be effective.

@Shane Blair So this fight scene inspired me to look up the weapon Gogo used, and it is very easy to make, it is called a "meteor hammer" or "rope dart." Over the course of the last two summers I took it upon myself to learn how to use it. While I am no where near Gogo's level of expertise, I can say doing the head whip is freaking awesome and isn't that hard to learn once you understand the mechanics of the meteor hammer. They are very fun, but at the same time very nasty as a weapon because it is a very sneaky weapon and you won't see the strike coming. And as @GBRL said, "it's fcking awesome..."

As much as a LOVE Kill Bill, I feel the Bride got lucky several times. I don't think she was the deadliest of the Viper Squad until they killed those people and tried to kill her. I feel that Elle was always the craziest and deadliest one. Bride didn't reach that level until they pissed her off. But Gogo would have killed her had she not gotten too close. Elle could have killed her had she not known that eye plucking move. Vernita almost shot her, missing her by inches. Bud REALLY could have killed her had those been real bullets in his shotgun instead of rock salt. Bill could have killed her, but he wanted to have a whole conversation with her. The only fighter I feel was lazy and underestimated the Brides determination for revenge was O'Ren. While she was deadly, her ego got her killed. She depended on her posse too much, almost forgetting just how mean the Bride could be. O'Ren even apologized to the Bride during their fight for antagonizing her, realizing the Bride meant business and she was there to win or die.

Rope dart spinner here - What she is doing with the "kicks" are probably actually supposed to be what's called a "shot" where you purposefully wrap it around a part of your body and then release it by slipping the limb back through the loop to create the titular shot with with incredible speed. It's weird the don't show her she doing a full foot shot here given how many other tricks she does - namely the famous neck wrap. Also obviously what she is using is heavier than most rope darts but they are usually pretty easy to get back under control. The tethered handed helps a lot with length adjustment while the guiding hand can usually maneuver it back into a workable plane if something goes wrong.

A childhood infatuation with Gogo was probably a red flag… I have spent my life trying to love psychos… it has not gone well… and somehow I still don’t regret it…

I don't agree with people saying "Gogo could've killed her". Beatrix didn't fight her with full intention to kill because she was a child. If she had been present during the church massacre, this match wouldn't have last 5 sec.
@yangtzeling74682 жыл бұрын
Beatrix never once considered her a child ! In terms of skill , Gogo would have killed her if not for that plank w nails that was conveniently there.

@@yangtzeling7468 there was pity and mercy in her eyes when she killed her. She didn't want to go this far, but she had to at the very last moment.

True she even told gogo she understands that she feels like she has to protect her boss but she didn't wish to fight her let alone kill her her but gogo just laughed at her. I mean come on she spanked them boys with her damn sword yelling at them to leave and they did. Gogo had the same choice cause it wasn't gogo fight and had no issues or reason to kill her. Gogo brought it upon herself

@@liammcsweeney2616 firstly , when Beatrix said those words to Gogo, she was under the impression that Gogo was just a schoolgirl. Beatrix spoke out of ignorance , not aware of how skilled and crazy Gogo was. Gogo was O Ren’s right hand person for a reason. The simple fact that Gogo was 1) deathly loyal 2) deadly assassin with zero compassion. To even think that Gogo would abandon O Ren is hilarious. Gogo would gladly die to protect O Ren.
