the fact that this song is eight years old, and that i only now know the meaning behind it makes me think about how much i've grown over time, first time listening to this song was around middle school, about six years ago, it might be because of my experiences, but from what i've gathered, it's a song about unrequited love from a childhood friend and the person trying their best to deal with it, but ultimately it leads to them spiraling into a severe mental breakdown. i'd delve even more into this, but it'd be a bit too dark.
