Guide is usless for players stuck on this boss to Progress the story, Max level around this point for guns is 65 i cant get anything higher, Energy activators are way to much of a grind to be beneficial for ONE Gun. Im not grinding content to finish the fucking story i should be doing that when the story is done and i need endgame content to satisfy my extra playtime...

This is 100% right. There's nowhere in the game I can currently access to get higher level gear and as far as his "mod check" goes, I litterly can't level up or put anymore mods on my tamer without an energy activator which isn't a viable grind unless on hard mode. It seems to be more of a p2w check than anything else.

I've been stuck on this mf for a week and it's killing me, because I enjoy the game a LOT but it's clear who their main consumer targets are. And those mfs that go "get good" are just not helping either. I was CLOSE to beating it with a team, but failed because this boss is just WAY too tanky. And that fire AOE is a guaranteed one shot for players like us, who aren't minmaxed yet. I just wanna get to the next region, gear up, but that ain't possible lol. What a way to gatekeep gear -.-

I think the problem is that most aren't tanky I run Ajax if I get focused I can pop my barriers and even if he shoots flames or the bubble out I am okay others have no resistance to fire and go down.

Me and my bro just beat him finally after about 30 attempts 😂 we ran public and had 2 Ajax bunny & sharen. I think it helped that me and my bro ran (bio-lab) on white night gulch to try and keep getting stronger weapons and it paid off, Also the mods are KEY we used chill mod , rifling reinforcement & fire rate up. TFD has pulled me in and I have been having fun playing it. Being a solo/ older gamer, I don't get the chance to get to the high levels like most with work and all. I feel like the best general advice is just max out hp/def/fire resist mods, farm components with hp and def both and take the fight on solo. I spent way longer on the fight simply because I kept doing it as a group instead of solo and once I did that I melted him first try as squishy bunny and I haven’t spent any money on upgrades or anything.

Just beat it on my first try solo with no special mods or anything. Just used Viessa, Tamer, and a sniper. Had 3k health 9.4k def. If you don't have Viessa though I can see it being very difficult.

Patience and persistence! It is possible, even with randoms and you do not have to have endgame stuff, but it does help to take some time to level as much as you can first. HP/Defence mods maxed. Unlock crit and weak spot on your weapon if you can. Add chill. Roll toward fire and not away from it and use your speed to get away if you need to. But most of all use a weapon that you can focus on the weak spots . My new favorite is a scout rifle, but by now I've finished the campaign.

So… I found out when your team is on one last chance and the boss is at low health, the game will deliberately take off 5x the health loss of a teammate (conventionally the game doesn’t show the player this when downed) i couldn’t believe how fast my teammates health was going down, I was in total shock and disbelief as I very easily could have saved him. I also feel that the game is a pay to win because if you didn’t choose Viessa at the start you’re royaly screwed. F this boss, F this game

Just to let you know the info on the left is his weakness and strengths. The weak point types are on the part icon, the weak point type listed on the left is what's recommended to use on him. Also I believe the weak point type and damage type it is most weak too will appear as tiny icon on TOP of the heath bar in mission.

As a viessa main she helps alot i find with her to have some dps on her but mostly use her 4th and 1 and 3 to slow him and then atk weakpoints then grapple the points to destroy em use the aim button to hold on when they shake u off and after hes done continue hitting the weak point.. viessa can be many roles tanky but less dps or dps but glass cannon like but i only got like 80+ hours atm and viessa aint that maxed out only 5 of the things that are like forma and i have a maxed module capacity thing aswell on her hope this helps a bit with viessa players ^^

Great video. It have gotten me closer to beating him, but I still can't beat him. My best run so far got pyromaniac down to 15% health but time ran out. I can't do solo, because of those tiny fireballs that follow you. Every player I match with use bunny and Thunder Cage... I spent 2 hours telling people to stop using electricity and boost chill enhancement. I use Viessa and tamer. Got multiple fire resistant mods on Viessa and 2 chill DMG mods on my tamer. All mods upgraded. Not to mention fully upgraded DMG mods.

Warning For those stuck on this boss in normal mode this video is not helpful. Cause he is higher level and has better gear than any of you I beat pyromaniac solo once i found out that the bosses become weaker the less players are in the instance.. Chill enhancment on guns and fire resistance will be your best friend. Having a viessa to help you will make it a lil bit easier just duo the pyromaniac with a viessa or an ajax to help you And patience is key i had to repeat it multiple times before i even beat it. Just keep trying

I had a hard time doing first time Pyro in public (normal)....then did this build (maxed out hp/def/fire res and chill Thunder Cage and used Viessa)....and just did it solo first time as well (you still have to dodge properly of course) easy killing the mobs made it way easier, and I left a messy battlefield

@0:30 Pierce refers to the weapon type damage go select the weapon and then press F1 for details and in those stats you will see what type of damage it does. my cannon ironically does pierce and my Tamer has Bash i think

The boss really isn't the strongest. What makes him so strong is a weak team or imperfect modules. Unfortunately, I can only use the modules, weapons or chipsets for my weapons that I have been given. I haven't gotten anything better. the game is a waste of time itself even when it has potential. but the game is made to Pay 2 Progress there is no other way to see it. even the Basic items are either locked behind almost impossible Missions or Vaults whos Mini Games are often impossible because the stroke you have to hit with the mouse Left or Right is not thicker as a tiny needle. DPS Check looks different he is a Damage Sponge. you will waste hours over hours just to maybe get that one Item that you need out of 4 to be able to craft that single item. and i've upgraded my modules my damage went down instead of up. i do less with upgraded modules that with +0 modules.

Alotta comments bitchin❤. Get your fire resist to 4k. Use Fayna, upgrade character by using crystal catalist @ level 40. AT LEAST TWICE. Youll have to grind to level 65 again❤twice. Use the sockets that use Incrrased Def. Increased Hp increased incrreased sheilds. Ideally you want 40k increased defences on your character details. 😊On a side note skill speed, skill extension and skill duration. R important as well. 😂❤ but those r "end game" builds. . Btw ive been playing for just 4 days. Do your YT research boiz. Its a pain in the ass. But worth it

Also can't farm out any better gear as the world drops are capped at 64-5 right now and I have best possible gear in every slot at level 65. This boss is a p2w check, basically requiring an energy activator for your weapon and grinding one of those isn't really viable on normal mode.

I suggest getting as good as a tamer u can get same with the thundershock I used viessa for fighing him bc shes my main try to max out hp def and get any type of electric resistance mod sheilds don't really matter I find out bc they go away very fast even with alot so you could replace that for some more def mods or hp mods ^^ hopes this helps I would also try to get the mod that grants immunity to electrocution stat so u don't take after damage I forget the mods name tbh

​@@discocat8073another quick tip for people is to get the mod absolute curse. I find that not a lot of people mention that hard executioner can apply a defense buff on himself. So if you do have the mod absolute curse that removes buffs on collosi when breaking a part just use that.

U dont have to spend one cent on the game as it is built to date. All the mods, enhancements, descendants, etc can be farmed. I tried Pupster's recommendation and solo'd the boss. It was WAAAAAY easier with his suggestions and I am lvl 40 at master level 10. Ran a tamer build with recommended fire resistance and cold atk damage. Didnt kill the boss but got him to 1/4 health. I died once vs. being owned running in a group previously with getting his health bar to like 1/2. Only reason I didnt kill boss was I ran outta time and it was like 5am in the morning so I was close to sleep. I'll try again later. But I DEF saw positive results w/ Pupster's recommendations.
