Kill Team 2021: Inquisitor Kitbash Challenge

So good man, love the thunder warrior retinue. Really love the sister mash up model think that might be my favourite. Great choice with grimdark gamers really looking forward to seeing what those guys do 👍

Ahhhhh he would have been a great build! Honestly there are so many great characters from the books. I plan for the retinue to grow, so there is still time

I've just recently started building a Rogue Trader crew using minis from different ranges/manufacturers, and they're looking good, IMHO :-> My club mates don't exactly agree with me, as they (The minis) aren't GW products, but for me, just the challenge of making up a Rogue Trader crew was enough to keep me energised and inspired, and so makes my hobby still exciting after being in the hobby for 50 years (I started WAY back in 1972, five years before GW even started). I LOVE this challenge you set yourselves, and think other modellers/gamers should indulge in such things, as you get to express your creativity, learn new modelling skills, and end up with truly unique character minis at the end :-D I'm definitely going to challenge myself to make some Inquisitor models now, just for the fun of it :-D

I think that's always the way to be, do it because its fun and it inspires you. It's good to get out of the comfort zone too, rogue traders are an open sandbox!

Looks awesome! I love that you made him a whole team. I hope the one with the shotgun represents Godwyn Fischig! I'm working on my own (once all the bitz arrive) using a Palanite Enforcer body with a massive Grey Knight Terminator force sword (already had the Inquisitorial "I" on it) and an inferno pistol from a Seraphim squad. I've used some Palanite Subjugators as proxies for Crusaders (just squeeze them onto 25mm bases), plus a Novitiate Penitent standing in for a Munitorum Priest. Lastly he's got an Ogryn Bodyguard with the big shield, armour and maul (he just thinks he's one of the Subjugators) and a Command Squad of Scions with special weapons to tag along, and together they'll boost around in a Vendetta Gunship, leading a larger force of Scions in Tauroxs. And I thought I had ordered all the bitz I needed until I saw those Inquisitorial Rosettes! Where did you get those?!

Oh I forgot - A Pair of Armiger Warglaives indebted to the Inquisitor (using their new allies rules) named Sir Morris and Sir Boris. Props if you get the reference!

Man poor Godwyn, I'm still too sad about his end...... That sounds like a hell of an inqusitorial strike force. So many great units with character. I am pretty sure those parts came from the one of the adeptus sororitas kits. I hope that helps!

Rules are made to be broken! Nicely done, and bonus points for Abnett inspiration (however I was soooo hoping you'd go with Ravenor in-chair version). Also - didn't know Necromunda Enforcers are so big, might have to adjust some plans I had for those models..

Hobby is always part of Kill Team! 😃The next step is to either find an exisiting ruleset to play them in the current edition (had some interesting suggestions) or hoping to keep them for the dream of a fully realised Inquisitor Kill Team!
